Rony Novianto is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Technology, Sydney. During his PhD he developed an attention-based architecture (ASMO) for control and decision making in robots. He is the founding member of Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architecture (BICA) society. His research interests mainly concern on cognitive and social robotics, cognitive architecture, attention and decision making.
Jonathan Vitale is a PhD candidate at University of Technology, Sydney. He graduated at University of Milan in Digital Communication and Computer Science. His research activity mainly concerns computational representations of social signals, behaviour modulation via emotions, the role of surprise in anticipation, empathy and related applications in social robotics.
